Also, I thought the blue around Bakugo was Gear Shift. Initially G.S worked on objects, so I figured Deku stopped Bakugo’s speed on contact with GS, used GS to speed himself up to launch Bakugo, and ALSO on Bakugo himself- hence the blue. Gotta analyze it again, but that’s what I understood. I don’t know if he was gear shifting the explosions itself- a possibility tho since it works molecularly.

It's because they had a good production schedule with half the normal episode count, as well as being able to bring in the big animators more often due to the final season and the production schedule.
