By the way... Garfiel did not block Elsa's attack with his belly, it was with the gauntlets... the sparks flying out and the metallic sound of the impact confirms it (even tho the animation frame is kinda missleading).

2025-10-15 10:37:44 +0000 UTCSomething to clarify that the anime subs may have led you to believe.. Roswaal was NOT directly responsible for the destruction of Ram and Rem's Oni village. He knew about the destruction coming cos of his Tome of Wisdom book, but he chose to not interfere and do anything about it. Most likely cos his intention was to take Ram who at the time was a very powerful oni with her horn. So yeea that's why Roswaal claimed responsibility. He didn't participate in it but he didn't do anything to stop it.
