Another juicy discussion. That's what Re:Zero does to ya. My personal interpretation of the "not Gospels," is that they list events that will happen in the future but doesn't actually elaborate on the minute detailed step by step process of how we get there. So basically yeea as you guys mentioned, its like having a basic summary of knowing World War 2 will happen. We know who starts it, what countries join the war, how many years the war goes for and which side wins. We don't know the details of which correct choices were made, who lives or who dies, who's strategy gets us a victory etc. We just have to go on a yolo that we know this future happens. So we have this book with vague summary predictions of the future and we need to make choices that will hopefully get us to that predicted future. Soo.. having unlimited redo's to solve the problem and get us to the outcome we want sure sounds like a $1 million lottery ticket huh?

When you remove the context of a 3 trials trope, the 1st trial seems like a way for the Witch of Greed, who yearns for knowlage, to instantly get all memories a person has, all under the premise of creating an obstacle based on thier past. So the question is, was echidna really watching Subaru earlier or was it just the memory copying, cause she still seemed intrested in him during the 1st tea party before even taking the trial so its up in the air for me on that part.
