Now this was a juicy discussion. So excited for y'all reactions. I reckon this season is better than the first, cos there's so much here to sink your teeth into. The worldbuilding, the lore, the mysteries. Also I agree on Roswaal. This season really brought Roswaal to the forefront and made me realise just how fascinating he is as a character. Really good point bringing up what Subaru must look like from the perspective of others - especially someone like Roswaal. Subaru really does look like a magic lottery ticket. Subaru's resume just keeps growing: He saved Emilia from Elsa at the loot house, he helped save the village from the mabeasts, he did the setup of the alliance with Crusch and Anastasia to take down the White Whale.. even fought on the front lines. He raised morale when it was low, ran on his land dragon using himself as bait with the Witch's scent. It was also his plan to throw the tree on top of it. On top of that, he took down Petelgeuse and his Witch Cult. That was all just Season 1, which is crazy. This is why I disagree that Subaru can't do shit. He's done ALOT.
