Just a quick video with my initial reaction to watching the Nosferatu teaser reveal. I'm very happy to see Eggers doing another horror and to me this looks like it knows exactly what it's trying to do.
[P.S. I do now remember that Nosferatu is set entirely in Germany, but you will me hear me stumbling through that re-realisation live.]

Having spent the last few days going through your Witch deep dive, I can absolutely say your insight into Eggers and his filmmaking style gave me a keener eye while watching Nosferatu yesterday. I was telling my husband on the way home that we’re so lucky to live in a time when we not only get to enjoy such incredible films, but we have the companion to them in your commentary! While watching Nosferatu I found myself excited to better understand some of the moments and references I knew were going over my head via your inevitable deep dive on the film. When it hit theaters, I went on opening night and left the theater saying, “I will watch anything that man attaches his name too.” I watched it two more times after. I’ve been on board the Eggers train ever since. Sometimes I feel weird because I loved the Northman and I have a hard time understanding its reception. I’m so stoked for this film.
