Little Update 22nd May
Added 2024-05-22 00:11:22 +0000 UTCHi guys, just a little ramble about stuff in an almost podcast format as I experiment with ways to get content up for you. The first 25-30 mins is just updating with personal stuff, various things from reception to the Midsommar vid to how I want to present content in the future.
The hour after that is a blurry wander through my Sunday/Monday as I review the films I watched while deeply hungover from a friends wedding, which as the algorithm would have it were mainly directed by Guy Ritchie. The core ones being The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and The Covenant, with a few of his lesser efforts thrown in. We'll also discuss Dev Patel's Monkey Man, Your Lucky Day and Argylle. I absolutely loved Monkey Man, but you are going to hear me send some lengthy criticism in its direction because I think it has some definite issues with pacing and identity.
Please don't take anything I say too seriously here, nor should you expect much in the way of professionalism or production standards yet, this is really just a first-go to test the waters that I probably shouldn't have uploaded.

I encourage you to do more of these for us in this platform. Just enjoyable. Of all the things you say so far (I am at minute 14 in only) , I could say I agree with you that the Midsommar deepdive is really much better than your previous masterpiece, Hereditary. The former is, I agree, more nuanced, and like you said, hence more divisive, and much, much harder to decode.
