Fithan Geography 101

We have the first of our special posts this week! I realize that it's been so long since we had any of these tutorials that some people may not remember them, so a little intro may be in order.

At various points I've put out soulcrafting tutorials or other informative image sets, either to remind readers of the systems or to flesh out details that would have been cumbersome in-text. If you want to see those, you should be able to access them via the tag on this post. I did them as little conversations between characters because I think that adds some charm. ^-^

Today we return to this, but for geography instead of soulcrafting. This one covers all the major places and factions on Fithe, which have been relevant recently and will be integral to the upcoming war plotline. It also includes things like the first reveal of maps for the series! I hope that you will enjoy this little break.

More blueprints and info on the next book in coming weeks.

Don’t think until these maps I truly appreciated how big the Asplundat Movement lands are.

Sorry, no full map at this time. But the only other continent that has been involved in the story (Tymetron) is north of Norron.

Can we have a full map of the planet? It's not clear where the Norron is located relative to the other continents

Andrei

Well well well. The fact that Plutalgion may have even aeon soulcrafters under him is interesting.

Yay! A map of Norron! I've wanted more maps forever.

I love both storybetrayals and maps. An Atlas of the Nune Worlds would be amazing to see

For clarity, the four-pointed star in the southernmost region is grey, not blue. Grey stars represent independent powers. The one on the western peninsula is indeed blue, though.

Maps. Maps!! I am so excited we finally have some solid maps for this series. Maps are not only helpful to readers, but also to writers--it is easier to stay consistent with directions and distances when you have locations plotted out. Of course, that is slightly less important in The Weirkey Chronicles compared to other fantasy series due to teleportation being the main mode of travel for soulcrafters at the Authority level or higher...but still. Despite not being relevant to the main story, I am kind of interested in the minor powers of Norron. Particularly the powers bordering the Ruling Cities to the south and the west, which appear to be on land... but ruled by Depth Fithans, if the blue star is anything to go by. Wonder what life is like there?

Storybetrayals!
