Alright folks, it's time to fly! Almost...
Scout F has gone through a bunch of testing and it feels like we're about ready to fly. I have a few small details to close out, but flight software is ready, the rocket is built, simulations look good, skies are blue, and winds are... high.
Wind for the next week solid is too high to launch. Looks like it starts to die down around Wednesday so we'll aim for that date and see how things shake out. I expect the date may shift around one or two more times before flight, but from what I can tell it should be solely because of weather.
I'll keep you posted as we get closer, but cell service at the launch site is fantastic, and I'm looking forward to finally nailing this landing thing. Like most of my flights, we're going to aim for sunset in Pacific time. That puts T-0 at around 7:30pm PT, and the stream will go live at least 30 min beforehand.
EDIT: AND ONE MORE THING - I'm going to fly all the Patron names! I'll see if I can get them on the outside of the rocket, but otherwise they'll fly on the inside on a piece of paper! In the next few days, feel free to make your name on Patreon whatever you'd like it to be shown as on the rocket!
