I've got a new rocket, and it's called Fineas... because it uses active fins :) Tomorrow I'm going to try to fly around 12 noon Pacific Time at the ROCstock launch out in Lucerne CA. If you're going to ROCstock please come say hello and wish Fineas good luck! The rocket will try to fly a small 90 degree roll program for this first flight. I've worked hard to get things working, but aero control surfaces are difficult, so ya never know...
We're also using some spare parts on this; the extra Lumineer FPV transmitter will try to get us live video, we're using a bunch of quick links and swivels that actually flew on Lumineer for chutes, and we're flying the 4ft parachute that flew(but sadly did not open) on BBR! It'll be a fun redemption arc for that chute if it works.
So long as it leaves the pad, I'll do a full footage and data review after, and we can talk more about the goals for this project. Hope to see ya there tomorrow, and thanks as always for your support!
