The Silly History of Beating People up
Added 2025-10-28 20:55:21 +0000 UTCMartial arts history began in prehistoric times, with evidence of combat techniques dating back to at least 3000 BC in Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt. Early forms like Pankration in Greece and Shuai Jiao in China developed thousands of years ago, while other traditions like Malla Yuddha emerged in India around the same time. Over centuries, these ancient practices evolved through cultural exchange and military strategy, influencing the development of modern systems worldwide. Some of these though...are pretty silly

2025-11-05 00:14:38 +0000 UTCokay after having listened to the episode I have to say 1) I enjoyed it greatly, but 2) it feels more like a discussion on the current state of martial arts and some of the culture around it, 3) a better title would have been an interview with a Muy Tai instructor. However I still greatly enjoyed it and hope you do a sequel based on this episode and go more into THE HISTORY of different martial arts.
