2021-10-10 23:09:03 +0000 UTCBenji and Victor never hit for me, even in season one. They just didn’t feel like a “true love” type of story. It felt like Victor coming to terms with his sexuality. But underneath their crushy physical connection, they just don’t have compatibility. Rahim and Victor is what I was LOOKING for when it comes to a love interest for Victor. Where venji started from lust, vahim started from friendship and a genuine connection and understanding. They just have this inherent trust with one another and willingness to be open. That’s why it never made sense for Victor to be Rahim’s Simon. Because they’re on a level playing field and are so much more alike in their journeys than Victor and Benji. Plus Benji was so manipulative and gaslighting this season, he drove me crazy. Even in season one there were some moments that I felt like he was just a dick- like after the first kiss and at Victor’s bday party. Anyway vahim supremacy.
