Akami looks healthy on the outside. But she collapsed a few years ago with Transverse myelitis and underwent medication, but developed a gait disorder. Her urine function has also weakened, so she always carries a pee bag.
She didn't have legs that shrunk like paraplegic because she could move them. But she has a hard time even standing, and after a few steps she falls. She needs a handle to lean on because she can't stand up on her own.
Her doctor advised her to walk as much as possible and use a wheelchair only when it's really hard because her gait disorder has a slight chance of recovering.
She is delusional that she has come to puberty after being cured and that she has her abilities sealed. She is narcissistic and always delusional and pretentious. But her attitude is a defense mechanism to avoid being hurt by her disability.
