Hi! I wanted to update you on what I've been working on.

Hey everyone! I hope you've been well as the holiday season is officially here! I know Thanksgiving was a few days ago, but I did want to take a moment to reflect and tell you how truly grateful I am to be able to create content and have the support from viewers like yourselves. I'm VERY lucky to have a community where we can chat about random things from the past, games, and whatever else crosses our minds! "Erin Plays" will be FIVE years old in January and I can't believe it. Time does certainly fly! 

I'm getting frustrated with being held back by my hand issues, as they come and go, but I try to stay positive because I know things could be a lot worse. To make a long story short, I have lists and lists of topics/letsplays to record and I really hope to at some point be able to put out content faster. But for now I need to accept that I can only do what I can, so I really thank you guys for being patient with me. It's certainly not laziness making videos slow to come out, I can promise you that.

That being said, I currently have two let's plays in the works! The first one is a playthrough of Remote Control on NES . . . yes, the game show game, lol. It kept popping up in conversation and finally I was like ya know what? I think it would be fun to do a video on this! So I watched an episode of the show and made a video. I personally think it's coming out a lot better than I expected it to be, since I went into it wondering if it wouldn't work to play by myself.  So I'm trying my best to edit as fast as possible because I'd love to have this out in the next few days.

I also recorded a video on JAWS on NES. What I THOUGHT was going to be a quick, easy and silly play through turned into quite the wacky mess but I think it will turn out to be a fun video. I forgot how much tapping there was with this game, so that kind of did my hand in, but I'm glad I recorded it regardless. 

I'm also working on non-game play videos that focus more on collections (kind of like my hand held video,) and things of that nature. So please feel free to leave any suggestions on topics/things you'd like to see! I'm doing this not only to switch up my content, but also to do things that will give my hands a break and in theory, be quick and easy to edit. So with those factors in mind, please leave any suggestions on videos like that you may be interested in! I have a number of ideas, but I really do enjoy hearing suggestions from you all since I know you care.

And since December is coming up, I'd like to do some old toy catalog videos and well as streams of those. Those are always fun to do. 

As far as streams go, I have been REALLY enjoying playing Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow on the Nintendo Switch GBA Castlevania collection. IT'S JUST SO GOOD! Haha. And it's making me want to go back and give SOTN another shot, since now I am more integrated (is that the word? lol) with this style of game play. My mind is blown that I am enjoying a metroidvania since they've always intimidated me due to the "where the hell do I go now?!" factor and the rpg elements. I am growing as a person, lol. I've been taking notes after every stream so I could try to keep my thoughts fresh and do a video on the game when I'm done. Not sure if it will be review or like, a top 10 thing but we'll see. 

Okay, that was A LOT of rambling, and I do have more to say but I'll save that for my next post.
