Odyssey 2 and other updates :)

I'm currently in the process of shooting my video on the Magnavox Odyssey 2! For those of you who have been my patron for a while, you probably know this has been a long time coming. Well, I finally recording game footage and I'm in the process of finishing up the scripted portion and then it's on to editing! I feel like this is going to take a bit longer than usual to edit, so if you feel like I'm taking a bit long in between videos, that's why 😅
After that, I'm probably going to do another toy catalog video and a "top 10" video that I'll talk about more when it (or if it) becomes a concrete idea!
As for merch, the samples came and they look awesome! However, due to everything going on in the world, I feel like now isn't the best time to launch merchandise. AND I'm worried about shipping being an issue so I figure I should just wait a while or else it will stress me out. Plus, this gives me more time to design a mug and maybe another shirt so those who are interested in buying something have more options.
In between streams and videos, I've been playing a lot of DOOM Eternal on PS4 and I totally love it! This is definitely out of my comfort zone, and I'm very slowly getting through it, but I'm still enjoying it! And as lame as it sounds, I'm proud of myself for branching out. I felt like I was missing out with modern games (besides stuff on Switch, etc) so this has been really fun for me! I'd like to film a video eventually but I might do one on classic DOOM first. We'll see. It's also been the first time in A WHILE where I'm allowing myself to play games just for myself. Pretty much since I started my channel, any free "game time" is for videos or streams. So this was a nice little change of pace :)
Well I hope you're all doing well and let me know what you're playing! I bought Animal Crossing but I haven't played it yet. That will be my first ever Animal Crossing experience, believe it or not!

I'm glad to hear you've been well and thanks for being understanding about the merch! Yeah I seriously love the doom universe. I wish I got into it sooner but better late than never. And that's cool you're enjoying Animal Crossing, I'll definitely tweet about it or talk about it here when I try it!

2020-04-02 02:25:19 +0000 UTCOMG I've been stuck at the end of level 3 for SO long! It's a bit embarrassing lol but I just can't do it! I'm slowly getting further though. I might check out RE3 since I enjoyed the second one, but idk. I need to stick with Doom and eventually give Animal Crossing a try. And yeah, the BTF2 poster is Mike's! I had to set up a little area in his streaming room because I didn't have the room.

Grocery shopping is due really soon and not looking forward to it...otherwise I've been good! Hope you are as well! Looking forward to the Odyssey 2 video! Take all the time you need to edit the video yo. No rush is needed and I'm sure it'll be another great video from you! Same goes for the Top 10 and toy catalog videos! With all the madness that's going on right now, I honestly wouldn't worry about releasing your merch now. It's great to hear that the samples came out great though! Hopefully this will all blow over faster & sooner than slower & later. I'll definitely snag one when the time comes! I'm so glad you're getting into classic DOOM and DOOM Eternal! Grew up with the original back in the day and it was one of the few games my sister and I played the living hell out of! (No pun intended) DOOM Eternal has been ridiculously intense for me and I'm loving every second of it! I'm trying to get all the collectibles and upgrades as I go through each stage so it takes longer than normal to beat a stage lol! I'm glad you're branching out into more modern games though! I'm a retro gamer at heart but man there are some great modern games these days! There are a bunch I could recommend to you but I'll wait until you're comfortable to expand your horizons even further! =) Animal Crossing has been insanely fun for how relaxing and chill it is! Its a game you can go to if you need to relax and close your mind off of things. It's not the type of game I go for and one I thought I couldn't get into after playing New Leaf on 3DS but something with New Horizons just hooked me. You could have a lot of fun playing by yourself or playing with friends by visiting each others islands! I think you'll be surprised with this one and I hope you end up liking it!

2020-04-01 01:54:05 +0000 UTCI'm doing well, Erin! This whole corona thing's pretty much got me on a new sleep schedule since I'm home all the time now. Used to go to sleep around 1-2AM, now I don't get to sleep until 4-5 in the morning, sometimes 5:30 like I did last night. I'm surprised I haven't got nuts yet from being inside all day long. The Odyssey II video should be very cool, and toy catalog videos are always awesome to see! I wouldn't worry too much about the merch right now. Whenever you feel is the right time is the time when the merch can be worked on. I'm sure the merch should be very cool. I like the idea of a mug and I'd buy one of your shirts too! I've been Doom Eternal until recently. I'm taking a mental break from it for a little bit as the end of level 3 was just driving me crazy. I spent over an hour just trying to get past the end of the level where like a hundred enemies all gang up on you at the same time. Couldn't count how many times I got killed at that part and I just said fuck it and gave up. I like the game a lot, but that part of the level just frustrates the crap out of me. I might be using the wrong weapons at the wrong time too. I'll go back to it soon but after I play a little bit of Resident Evil 3 which comes out this week and I'm really looking to playing. The new Animal Crossing I've started on but I've been more of a Doom mood than Animal Crossing mood so I didn't play much of it yet. That's one I wouldn't think about streaming yet, because people will be getting on you like crazy on that one about where to go and what to do. And I noticed a Back to the Future II poster on your wall, very nice!
