I'm excited about my next video!

Hey everyone, I hope you're having a nice weekend. I just filmed the first part of my next video and I'm really hoping it turns out as well as I'm thinking it will.

I know I've talked about some of this before, but I just wanted to give a quick backstory on this: The SNES was my first system, and I got a NES sometime around the time I got my N64 as a kid. I remember seeing a Power Pad at a used game store and I was like "OMG WHAT'S THAT?!" My mom said I didn't need it and she was probably right. I know I would have gotten bored of this pretty fast as a kid. So I never bought one or tried one out but I finally got around to getting one.

I also noticed that there aren't a ton of in-depth Power Pad videos out there, which surprised me since I feel the Power Pad is like, basic NES stuff.

Anyway, all of these reasons are why I'm stoked about getting this video done so I can share it with you guys! I still have to film the game-play parts, which I KNOW are gonna kick my ass! I'm hoping I can get that all done in a day but it might take a few because I have really bad asthma, and these games require you to run like CRAZY, lol. But I will power through it for the sake of art. Or whatever you would call my videos. Entertainment? Edu-tainment? Idk.

If you're reading this, I truly TRULY appreciate your support and I can't wait to share this video when it's done.

Talk to you later,

Erin

Haha, I could imagine parents not liking them!

Every time my brother and I would play with the power pad when we were little, stuff would fall off the walls and a couple time we broke some stuff from all the vibrations of us running and jumping in place. My mom was not a fan. But you better believe I bought one now that I’m an adult and they are still weird and barely useful and totally awesome.

Yeah, I like that Nintendo was trying new things from the start. I may crap talk the LABO, but at least they're still TRYING to be innovative! And thanks, it's all good :)

I was thinking about the Power Pad earlier... it's interesting that Nintendo was trying from the beginning to get us to exercise a little from the very beginning... Sorry to hear about your asthma, though... I know it complicates things.
