The names existed prior to knowledge of polar bears. The Arctic is named after Ursus Major so its named after the bear in the sky.

I imagine a CSM with no boons vs a weak sauce Blank wouldn't be any different than a normal fight. Whereas a Word Bearers Dark Apostle vs a SoS would be a waking nightmare for him.

That having been said, we know there's at least a few running around "in the wild." Ciaphus Cain's aide Gunner Jurgen is a Blank and he's half the reason Cain's pulled off so much nonsense.

Did they have this ability before coming into our galaxy or was it an adaptation after entering? If the tyranids had this before entering, do you think that it involves something to do with having to fight the equivalent of psykers in another galaxy or is the warp for them just a form of communication for them? Finally, do you think there are different chaos gods in other galaxies and/or if chaos worshipers traveled to another galaxy, could they bring their god with them?

No need to tell them why, or anything, just the same as with Psykers. "You got a kid that makes everyone feel dread? Send it to us, we'll take them off your hands." Sounds like a good way to get a bit of extra firepower against, yknow, the literal Rift to Hell and the Horrors it brings.

Theres a bunch of Eldari who are pretty awesome, especially in the newest stuff with Ynnead or whatever theyre called. Side note: you'd think that a bunch of xonos alien races wouldn't have the same definitions of genders that humans do, and would have a lot of in-betweens that could serve even a possible cultural purpose. Perhaps you'd even see more than a dimorphic species like ours. Maybe I'm not steeped enough in the lore to really know though.
