Weekly Update - March 3rd

I think most of you came through 8SR on Ao3 so I hope you enjoyed reading the rest of the story, there's another new fic coming up this week so I hope you stick around to read that too!
This week in WIPs:
I've made a bunch of progress on the fic that writes itself (tentatively known as DSH) - last week I said it was going to be 5 shortish chapters, I'm now staring down the barrel of 10 short chapters, lol. I felt like there were certain spots where the chapters needed to cut, so I'm thinking chapters of about 2k but posted daily (or near daily) rather than 4-5k less often. I'm up to around 22k (7k+ in the past week) and think it'll probably be nearer to 30k when it's finished, which seems like a good length for a fic!
I've also been back into reading through the BNHA manga because I want to write more Fork in the road, which requires some backreading. I'm hesitant to get ahead of the show because I enjoy the anime a lot more and don't want to ruin it, but it's so hard to try to write stuff when you don't have the latest information ^^;
Goal Updates:
It's now officially March, which means I can class 8SR as my monthly fic on Ao3, haha. There should (fingers crossed) actually be a few this month - 8SR for those who haven't yet seen it, DSH coming soon, the next installment of the Little Sh*t series, and a oneshot for White Day in a couple of weeks. If I were smart I would save one for April in case I don't have one to post then, but I am not smart.
Not much else to say for this week, it's been a pretty slow one - I'm not bouncing between fics right now for once in my life! Uni started back this week though so T_T time to start working for real again.

2019-03-03 11:17:21 +0000 UTCOh, I know that feeling. As soon as I got to date with BNHA, I started reading Vigilantes, and I loved it, until I didn’t. I don’t know what happened, but one day, I just... kinda lost interest. I’ve been in the exact same chapter since November and haven’t been able to move forward. And I’ve seen that it’s kinda happening and I wanna get there but... I can’t make myself get there. It’s strange, but I get it. I’m sorry to hear BNHA is feeling like that for you! But maybe powering through it will help until you get to something that excites you.

2019-03-03 11:15:32 +0000 UTCI really wish I could have done that too 😭 I've done it with other shows/manga but for some reason this manga just doesn't hold my attention as well. Maybe once I power through the bits I know (spoilers etc) and get into brand new content it'll be better, but even today I tried to read some and only managed about 3 chapters 😟 maybe I'll try just powering through them faster instead of focussing on details lol.

2019-03-03 11:11:42 +0000 UTCI totally get that about the anime and manga, but me being a really impatient person, a week after I finished the anime I went and read the 190 chapters (in that time)... in like a week. And... I don’t regret my decision. I’m excited for the anime, because I love it and the action scenes are so much better (in the manga they are so hard to follow up), but I love where the story is right now and having a little gift of 13-17 pages from Horikoshi make my week. Maybe you’ll change your mind! It’s getting so good, I promise.
