This is a recent acquisition from the DCM. As received, it was clean, straight, and properly toleranced. A really nice example of a representative WW2 government .45; all we did was make it look good.

2021-12-22 07:34:48 +0000 UTCThe cans like Mark's 'Harbor Freight Special' is made by Eagle. On ebay, search 'EAGLE BENCH CAN.' Many available. I bought one, but currently don't use it. Worried that it won't seal the kerosene fumes enough for my workshop inside my house. I use a large gallon+ jar from Walmart, with the plastic gasket and slide on lid. Don't drop heavy metal items to the bottom, trust me, eventually it cracks. And just saw comment above mine called out Bench Cans as well.
