Premiere: Veritasium: A Story of YouTube Propaganda

Hey all!

Attached is the link to the premiere for my new video, currently titled "Veritasium: A Story of YouTube Propaganda".

Thanks to all the Early Access folks who have sent over thoughts and responses—it's always great to know that a topic I cover has been interesting or otherwise inspired further thinking!

If you'd like to join the premiere, it'll be kicking off at 8pm UK time (or whatever the equivalent is in your time zone). I'll be hanging out in the chat from around 30 minutes before. If not, it'll be available to watch at your leisure shortly after.

Finally, I just wanted to apologise that there hasn't been a Friday Update for a couple of weeks. I ran into several technical hurdles during editing which ensured it's been a pretty hectic couple of weeks! As ever, however, those technical hurdles helped me to learn a little bit more about some of the aspects of editing I'm less good at so I'm taking it as a learning experience!

Thanks as ever for your generous support!

Tom

Not at all man an I'm slightly feeling bad for saying it in a comment, I think my point is valid certainly but should perhaps have been a message instead, I didn't think of that. And honestly, 3 dollars is a little low for the work you do, I found the old stuff and I appreciate that you've clearly put a lot into production and equipment. I didn't feel up sold and like I said man I've got no simple solution either. Not trying to lay it on you because this is essentially the business model for news.

Heya Robbie! I'm afraid scripts are a perk for $5/month patreon supporters but the sources for most things should be pretty apparent within the video, with citations at the bottom of the screen for direct quotations and charts etc. Hope that helps!

Hey where can I find some sourcing?
