Filming Has Begun!
Added 2021-01-21 12:36:43 +0000 UTCYesterday, I kicked-off filming for the upcoming video by shooting one of the narrative sections which is interspersed with the usual ideas-y bit.
I managed to get a rough edit together (or, actually, two rough edits as, after I assembled the first I decided to re-shoot the scene as it didn't quite have the effect I wanted) and I think it's looking quite good.
This morning, I've once again been transforming my spare room into a mini studio and will be filming the main bulk of the video so that I can get on with editing whilst also arranging some of the other narrative bits and pieces.
I'm really excited to share this one with you all!

The recorder has the microphone plugged into it and captures the sound (the cable from the microphone is just out of shot but you can see it going into the recorder). Then I sync it with the camera footage when editing. Makes for much, much nicer sound than using the built-in microphone on the camera!
