Clue con(clue)des
Added 2023-05-20 00:44:18 +0000 UTCClue is a cavalcade of different things that I often warn can make for challenging rerolls: PVP (because it tends to isolate players from each other rather than pull them together), Comedy (because the movie already doesn't take itself seriously, so it's difficult to do parody), Mystery (because it can be unsatisfying if the players don't solve the riddle), Large cast (because it's just hard to manage), but Lisa took it on and absulely nailed it. Rockstar performance from her.
But really it has taught me what I've long felt, which is that no movie is truly bad for rerolls, if you're inspired to run a movie, and have an idea for an approach, always go for it. The only thing that makes a reroll difficult is if you're uninspired by the movie. The GM above all, needs to have a relationship with the film, even if it's not a positive one. You have to want to jump in that world, even if it's maliciously so.
Anyway, super pleased with how this one turned out top to bottom. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Back with more Rogue Two next!

When I ran Clue for my D&D group, they also made me improv a singing telegram song… 😅
