Time Bandits part 4 is up! I'm not sure if everyone likes the format of a campaign that comes back whenever it wants to, but I think it's fun in the context of the type of movie Time Bandits is (and the campaign we're running), and you have no idea how much easier it makes our lives to have a campaign that we can bring in for one episode whenever we need to plug a gap that we couldn't get the next thing schedule in time for the next release window. We are slowly rounding into form from the old show where I basically did everything and things came out when they were ready, to a well-oiled machine. But as well-oiled as we are getting, we have a very unique challenge in that we don't know how many episodes any campaign is going to run. They always surprise us. That makes scheduling doubly tricky, and sometimes we're going to realize we're not going to be ready to run a campaign by the next release date. Having a campaign that we can jump into for a single episode at any time is incredibly helpful.

But I was so glad to revisit the goofy madness of Time Bandits. I actually have a ton of really deep lore and mythology behind this one, silly as it is. I have a somewhat wild interpretation of the movie that I built in to the core of this world, and I really hope I get to share it with you. Normally I don't really have a strong feeling of loss for the lore that doesn't get shown, because the power of lore is in the mystery, and it loses it's power if too much of it gets revealed. But this one I really do love the underlying stuff me and Tim dreamed up. If it doesn't ever get shown in campaign, I'll probably end up revealing it online, which is something I never do. We shall see.
