Love how this one went. It is goofy as hell and magically silly. It was a joy to have Lane on the show. Good friend of mine and incredible comedian. We'd been talking about working together for forever, but schedules never lined up. With the makeup of this cast being heavily skewed towards comedy people, I was prepared to embrace a more wacky and improvy tone, but I was not ready for how silly this would get (in a good way). I was laughing so hard at the antics at the table. I hope you all enjoy it.

Whenever we do a reroll, we tend to end up with a tone that is 40% sillier than the movie's was, and so when we have a movie that is pretty silly to begin with, we get a tone that is pretty dang silly, which is what we have here.

To a certain extent, I think that Princess Bride is a movie that best matches the Film Reroll's general tone. It's played with a straight face, but is comedic at heart. And it has occasional flights of fancy of pure farce. Miracle Max (who sadly did not make it into the reroll), feels like a reroll character, like the Inigo in the reroll asked if he could find a doctor or a magician to heal his dead friend, and the GM on the spot came up with a character with a silly voice and an anachronistic accent. But while the movie is silly and comedic, it cares whole-heartedly about it's story and it's characters.
