Boy was this episode haunted. First we lost the episode. Like, we recorded it, it was fine. I double checked after recording and sent it off to the editor. I got word from the editor that files were missing and I was out of town so I couldn't double check, but I wasn't worried at the time, I just assumed I'd forgotten something. Nope, the files were gone. Turns out it's a rare but documented known bug Adobe Audition on Mac. I went to some crazy lengths to try and recover the files, I did a search of internal and deleted cache files, figuring fragmentary versions might exist, combed through lots of RIFF files that I found, partially overwritten in my Mac's unlisted memory. But no, none of them were from the missing episode.

We scrambled to re-record. Were able to get a crew together on short-notice, plus I upgraded some of our set-up in order to allow us to record to a back-up (btw, many thanks to all of you who are our equipment budget). Of course, the day we're recording none of the stuff is working because I'm a dummy and didn't know how to use any of it yet.

And then in the edit, every technical issue conceivable was trying to prevent this issue from going out.

*deep breath*

Anyway, it's out, and I think it's a lot of fun.

Oh, and I'm sure some of you are wondering about Time Bandits . . . *smiles mischeivously*
