Weekend at Bernie's (Part 2)

What can I say about this episode? This whole Weekend At Bernie's saga is pretty bonkers, but the original movie was pretty bonkers to begin with. I can't decide if the original movie intended its characters to be loathsome, or if it was an unfortunate combination of characteristics of the era, that are only revealed in retrospect. There's a fun game to the episodes in which the players don't watch the movie: I have to describe the characters in profound detail to the actors, so that they can embody them, but I have to do so without describing any specific events which would be spoilers. I then get to watch their interpretations of my interpretations of the characters, play out the events the actual characters were faced with. In this case, both Andy and Pitr's versions capture the spirit of 80's capitalistic thirst. But they both make them somehow more unabashedly amoral, while still, in my opinion, being slightly more likable and less sleazy than the main characters from the film.
