Today's tune is a pretty chill dungeon theme. It starts off quiet enough for the player to get their footing but as the song progresses there are some really cool "flutey" elements that get added.
I don't normally do this when writing these days, but this one started off as strictly a piano track. Once I had the structure all laid out, I started moving the different lines to various instruments to give them each a bit more character. I really should do this more often. It can make the process of "actually writing the song" so much smoother. Get the lines down first, find the sounds later, type of thing.
