New Griffon claws
Added 2023-05-11 02:39:40 +0000 UTCIf you remember we ran into some trouble with the Griffon claws and I didn't like it from latex so instead I sculpted a version of it in 3D. Then we realized that casting and molding them from silicone wasn't great either. Because when latex bend it looks odd and stretched out. The wires were not strong enough, it was messy.
In the end I am hard to satisfy so I threw them all in the garbage!
The project was on stand by and I had no more ideas.
So today, I decided to reuse my sculpted claws and gave them 2 sets of poses.
Now the grabbies will be switched depending on the situation. I want him on my arm when I walk around so, I will have him with his claws closed. When I want him at home resting, he will have his claws opened.
That is the only plan I could be satisfied with at this time!
Next would be robotic, but that will be for another project later on!
