Happy Friday Party Members!

Today's tune is inspired by one of my favorite OSTs of all time, Final Fantasy 8.

When I first played the game (back in the 90s...wow....) one of the coolest segments was the train mission. Not only was it a great story beat (really the whole first disc is just excellent) but the track accompanying it was perfect. This is my homage to that track.

There are many familiar elements but as usual I still tried to change it up enough to be its own thing. I actually had this song mostly done last week but I lost focus on it at some point. It almost slipped into the depths of my unfinished songs folder but I opened it back up on Wednesday, made some final touches and adjustments, and bam. Friday song done.
