Kentaro Miura passing
Added 2021-05-20 17:00:43 +0000 UTCOne day I got given that old video dusty cassette of Berserk and I had no idea what it was about. Then I watched it and it was the best thing I have ever watched. Because the series made me upset, sad, happy, shocked, and also gave me a lot of willpower for what I am so passionate about. All sort of things. I owe the creator a lot of who I am today.
Yesterday was announced that the author of Berserk died on May the 6th. 2 days after my birthdate. And it's that kind of day that I'm not so spirited. Because even though I never met the guy, the series was a lot more than just that.
And over the years I say so often how much I love it and just like Kuja, some stories just are meant to make you feel related to something. And I think it's important to have that.
I was scrolling through old pictures of the anime, it's so nostalgic. I did read the manga, seen the movies and watched the most recent, but nothing hit more than the first thing that got you into it.

You introduced me to Berserk years ago, Kuja, and I’m forever grateful for that. 💜💜 Berserk IS a phenomenal series, and I hope others continue to appreciate it and its characters as much as we do.
