I agree with the stances discussed on the unwritten rules. I also don’t like dancing and I have been in a very similar scenario before that Joe laid out at the end of the episode. I feel like I am very much like Oli in some aspects, very competitive. Gaming or real life. I play pick up basketball with others at my job and when we play a lot of people will say “it’s just for fun” or “it’s just for activity”. I always tell them yeah that’s a part of it but I’m also here to win. If you aren’t in it to win it what’s the point? That’s my stance.

2024-08-31 14:04:40 +0000 UTCGreat stuff as usual, just a tip for Joe with Rain World: If you stand still in a room for a bit and pay attention to the yellow guy who follows you around he will point in the direction you need to go to progress the story. Don't force yourself into trying to like the game though, if you've given it a good shot and aren't enjoying it, thats completely fine!

2024-08-31 09:56:24 +0000 UTCMetroid Dread is a fantastic game, it was my game of the year in 2021. I got into the whole Metroid series because of the first Dread Trailer. I've now played all the "2D/2.5D" games and have just got Prime 3 left to play before Prime 4 releases. Interesting how Joe mentioned not starting at the ship, that was one of the key things Nintendo highlighted in the marketing as this time you are making your way out from underground to reach your ship on the surface.
