I'm kind of at a wall with make up, I'm not sure what techniques to learn or improve on to make myself look better, I want to improve my make up but dont know the path to do so, any help?

Yuepon Fan

I’m doing OG first :3

I would go more with some kind of smooth jersey! Personally I don't like Nina bangs - I rather have more to cut, than not enough! Which Popola? OG or Automata?:)

You mean stretch fabric, right? Besides, I didn’t sew my Three dress with a machine but by myself (it was my first self made and it was fun) :D I see, I’m gonna buy A2’s new wig at the restock and check if Yuna’s is in stock. Meanwhile, Venus is good for Kainé, how about Nina? (Forgot to ask about Popola, my bad)

Dalia

For both of ladies I would not use satin, but soft lightly extensive fabric. Satin rips very easily and gets wrinkles very fast and have shine. I would suggest visiting fabric store if you have a chance to see fabrics and maybe find something you like in person! I do that, it's the easiest way to find something that is best for you. If you still use satin, remember to buy satin needles for your machine that helps not to leave needle marks! :) As for wigs, for A2 Le tigre is perfect as a base, for Yuna - Inigo or Eowyn if you want visible natural parting. For Kainé, Venus would be good, as Le Tigre is way too long:). - Z.

Heya! As you perhaps know, I sacrificed my former A2 wig for my Zero wig and I’m gonna start working on Kainé (I have nothing for her yet) and Zero’s fabric parts (already done with flower and arm). Which types of fabric would you recommend for Zero (brocade satin or regular satin) and Kainé? Besides, sorry to ask, but which wig styles from Arda are good for A2 and Kainé (and Yuna (FFX HD remaster) if possible, starting her in summer)? The customer service said a Nina with their trick would be good for Kainé and a Luthien or Le Tigre for A2 (heard that Venus would be good according to a friend). Thank you in advance ❤️

Thanks buddy i was thinking to go for wood myself thank you for the answer

It's very expensive though and can be ordered online too. Rust Oleum is your cheaper option that works well too.

Easy to forgive and fast is definitely Black Worbla or Foam, my friend. Foam being the cheapest and can do gorgeous results for very heavy armor and props. Personally I take the long way and use sculpting/molding or wood.

hey buddy what material to use to make armor or any kind of cosplay prob which is very forgive if i make a mistake to fix it easy and fast thank you for the answer and your time <3

Ah I see, though unsure if I have seen any Killer Chrome Spray here down my way, I may look into it nonetheless along with looking for some good rustoleum paints. Thank you! :D

Mike

I understand your struggle. The best is to use spray can with lustre already to avoid this. Rust Oleum Metallics is the best for its price. If you wanna get really intense you can use Killer Chrome spray can if you’re going for silver. Personally hand paint is never as great as the cans in terms of reflective properties.

Any tips for trying to clear coat props painted with metallic colours? Been struggling to get the prop to look nice and not lose its shiny lustre once the clear coat hits it (as if it becomes Cloudy.... no pun intended of course) :’D
