Private pre-emptive bday drawing reveal + update/pseudo-announcement

It's minor differences with texture and light but I'll be picking between either of these two to make public. Preference? Do you notice anything? Seperate public post on the day probably.
So, part of the reason I'm doing this now and not anything else: a couple weeks ago a certain mangaka who you know if you're here tweeted an ad to recruit assistants - not necessarily drawing, as a short term gig. Somehow, I got in. It's pretty absurd and crazy, but I wanted to say since my spare time may be getting split and how much else I'll be able to produce is up in the air until I know better. Naturally, I can't say anything, don't draw attention, don't speculate, don't ask me. But it's pretty cool.

Looking at both of them, the direction of sunlight seems to be the main factor of consideration. The image on the left could be interpreted as mid afternoon while the image on the right could be seen as around noon time. Also congrats on potentially getting your-foot-in-the-door in the manga/anime space. Best wishes to ya.
