Kittens In New Haven

I found the postcard referenced in one of the Punko Reacts videos, wherein I mentioned that I named “Alice and Cousin Eva,” the shipwrecked women that Buddy and Chase played in the Beach Boys arc, after this 125-year old postcard my sister gave me, complete with an olde timey LOLCats pic and silly caption on the front. Even a hundred years ago, people just wanted to post cute pics of cats and give them silly captions. 🐱

I don’t know these women, but I hope they sensed that someday their love of cats would be immortalized in the dumbest way possible. Is it me, or do even the kittens look old-timey? They look like they both carry pocket watches and have substantial investments in the East India Trading Company. One of them is clearly named Reginald, possibly the one on the left.
