The Dr Pepper and 7 Up Cherry look really good!

Ar558a

another great video Alanna, just for your information,I`ve had a look and your Tostitos hint of lime you can get here in the UK when you come home from good old Amazon, but they are not cheap.

My grandpa called it pop until the day he died. He was Southern as they come. Weโ€™ve used Coke for anything, soda, pop, soft drink and even fizzy water at different times. Just depends on who youโ€™re talking too and how old they are. People under 30 donโ€™t order a Coke and expect to hear what flavor any more.

The Raven

I think Pop is fairly Canadian, soda is fairly American and fizzy drink or soft drink is British! Although I've heard people interchange pop and soda somewhat commonly.

Dr Pepper is practically the national drink of Texas. Actually, if I looked it up, it probably is the state drink. So I grew up drinking Dr Pepper then Diet Dr Pepper when we could afford the good stuff. ๐Ÿคฃ They do have the Diet Dr Pepper Cherry here in Texas, but we get every flavor they make at some point. When Coke Zero came out I was all for it. Then they came out with the Orange Vanilla Coke Zero and it's fine if you're into orange. Now they have Cherry Coke Zero and I'm sold. When I was young, all us poor kids had the fruit flavor Fanta (grape, orange, strawberry, peach and even pineapple). So I know what that Sunkist and Crush taste like). I'm surprised I didn't have cavities.

You use the name "pop" rather than "soda" or "soft drink". I've heard all of these but "pop" seems to be a regional term in the US, and also I guess a Canadian expression. Which do they say in the UK? My favorite is standard Coca Cola - the only one you can mix with rum, and that's a big advantage!

William Seabrook

Do they have In and Out in Florida? It's mostly west coastish and they have a few here in Texas now.

The Raven

I can confirm I haven't had either of those before!!

Adventures and Naps

I have had Dr Pepper Cherry, but I can't remember where I had it. Here or the US. If it was here I only found it in one place

Simon

Interesting! I think the Cherry SevenUp would be nice if it was diet, too bad it's not really in stores!

So much syrup!!

Adventures and Naps

Hi, Alanna, a brilliant and really entertaining video. I hope you've recovered from all the sugar and salt and your stomach didn't rebel too much. I think you had enough sugar to last six months. I prefer a glass of diet coke. Hope you're enjoying Florida. Looking forward to your next video soon.

Stephen Parker

Thanks for the video, we do occasionally find cherry seven up in England in corner shops but itโ€™s rare and always full sugar so I couldnโ€™t drink loads even if it was widely available. Never seen the others. I hope your stomach and teeth are all ok after that amount of sugar and salt.

Sarah Hogg

D+B rules Alanna, come on and admit it haha! I bet your teeth loved you after all that corn syrup.
