2020-03-16 10:10:32 +0000 UTCMy grandpa called it pop until the day he died. He was Southern as they come. Weโve used Coke for anything, soda, pop, soft drink and even fizzy water at different times. Just depends on who youโre talking too and how old they are. People under 30 donโt order a Coke and expect to hear what flavor any more.

So I grew up drinking Dr Pepper then Diet Dr Pepper when we could afford the good stuff. ๐คฃ They do have the Diet Dr Pepper Cherry here in Texas, but we get every flavor they make at some point. When Coke Zero came out I was all for it. Then they came out with the Orange Vanilla Coke Zero and it's fine if you're into orange. Now they have Cherry Coke Zero and I'm sold. When I was young, all us poor kids had the fruit flavor Fanta (grape, orange, strawberry, peach and even pineapple). So I know what that Sunkist and Crush taste like). I'm surprised I didn't have cavities.

I've heard all of these but "pop" seems to be a regional term in the US, and also I guess a Canadian expression. Which do they say in the UK? My favorite is standard Coca Cola - the only one you can mix with rum, and that's a big advantage!

2020-03-14 13:30:07 +0000 UTCThanks for the video, we do occasionally find cherry seven up in England in corner shops but itโs rare and always full sugar so I couldnโt drink loads even if it was widely available. Never seen the others. I hope your stomach and teeth are all ok after that amount of sugar and salt.
