3.5 hours. That's right. Does this movie really need 3.5 hours? Probably not. But at the same time, none of the film, scenes or conversations ever feel rushed. Everything takes it time and moves exactly how it wants to.
I ended up watching this movie in two parts and it almost felt like 2 separate movies. The first half is fine. Well acted, well directed, good story. One thing I found distracting was that even though many of their faces were de-aged, you could still tell they moved around like old men with old men posture and bodies. But still.
But the second half really impacted me and I actually burst into tears when it finished. I don't want to spoil it, but I definitely think it's worth a watch. Just make sure your snacks are ready for the long-haul.
