The only ASMR I had previously listened to was Harry Potter themed. Like it would be Gryffindor Common Room and it would just be like a windy rain storm with maybe some creaks of floor and the fire crackling. The Slytherin Common Room was my favourite though, it was like an underwater muted noise. I haven't ever experienced one like with the noises of crinkling paper or cutting paper (I know you were making a parody) but perhaps those types do exist. I guess they all act as another form of white noise/background noise. I used the HP ones when I needed to study and wanted something to change up the classical music. Or to really nerd out listen to them while reading HP 🤣🤣. Hope all the illness has left your house. Have a good week.

Hm... having watched you on YouTube for free for about 6 months I decided to jump in and sponsor you, and then this weird ASMR video. I can’t say it’s in any way relaxing as you need one of those circular silk screens in front of the mic to stop the spitting and clicking noises. I’m certainly not going to cancel my subscription, at least not yet but I just hope you don’t do this too often! Nothing personal, Alanna 😎

I struggled too, but I found that listening to it faster helped. I got through it on 1.5 speed. (sorry Alanna, I do love your other videos)

We can get Fisherman's Friend in Canada, actually! I never realised that it was a UK product. I was thinking about doing an NHS video soon actually!

I'm definitely not in charge of cooking Christmas dinner this year - but I AM in charge of the Yorkshire puddings!

ASMR is highly overrated, maybe it's for those who don't have confidence in using their normal voices. I don't hold this experiment against you though if some else appreciates it.

Well that was a little strange, to say the least. I think I managed about five minutes before my head started hurting.
Good to see other people are enjoying it, but not for me, I'm afraid.

I like these occasional ASMR videos. As it's the season for coughs and colds, you could review British cough sweets like Lockets, Fisherman's Friend etc. Nothing with actual medicine in it - more the stuff you take while you're counting down the hours until you can take real medicine again. Don't know if you have similar products in Canada to compare against?

Glad you are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, or as Metallica said, is that a train that is coming your way! Anyway i don't get this stuff at all, it is just weird. I try to get my daughter to wrap my presents too and sometimes it works. I would love to see you attempting to cook a full Christmas dinner, that would be fun for us but not for you based on previous cooking videos.

Hi, Alanna, I hope you are now recovered. Ideas for Christmas videos, how about making and cooking a christmas pudding and / or mince pies? You could do decorating the tree / house you'd make that enjoyable. Long videos are good. Looking forward to your next video soon.

Something English to send your parents, how about a jar of Marmite, nothing more English than that.
