Horseshoe Falls
Added 2019-09-13 18:00:02 +0000 UTCA lot of people consider these "Niagara Falls" but this section is actually called Horseshoe Falls! It's the largest of the three waterfalls that collectively form Niagara Falls on the Niagara River, but these are specifically on the Canadian side.
The "American Falls" look cool, but they're drastically smaller. Canadians make sure everyone knows that the real Niagara Falls are in Canada...
For $30, you can get your own ugly red poncho and stand on the Hornerblower boat that takes you just below the Horseshoe Falls - definitely worth the money if you're going to Niagara Falls!

2019-09-13 18:33:06 +0000 UTCThat's something I've always wanted to check out if I ever visited Canada but my epic phobia of water would probably stop me :( (Had an accident at a pool when I was 2/3 years old) If I can talk the other half into keeping a tight hold on me then I might be able to!

2019-09-13 18:18:15 +0000 UTCIndeed! The Canadian side is just awe inspiring. I've done the boat tour and it was worthwhile. I've heard that there is a tour that takes you behind the falls, but have not done that. Also, the nightly lighting of the falls are supposed to be spectacular. Perhaps next time I'm in the area.
