(NSFW) Maid

Another modern human AU of NPCs !! This time featuring Lucian's other sugar daddy (and this time, actually) Raffaele.

In this AU, Raffaele still does some less than legal business, but for the most part takes part in the pretty standard kind of white collar crime. Lots of money laundering, tax evasion, and generally morally abhorrent American 1% kind of thing. On the plus side, he definitely wouldn't hire union-busting lawyers and pays his employees a livable wage. Sorry, this is my fantasy ideal man and that means I get to make the rules. He's still kind of an awful person, but in the way that's so nebulous that you don't really realize. Unlike his canon counterpart, he actually has the time and (most importantly) the social concepts available to call himself aromantic, or at least grayromantic. Raffaele absolutely loves sex and has many partners that he has soft spots for, but he's never really thought of having a romantic partner in the way that would be expected of him. Nor does Lucian change that. He deeply values his relationship to Lucian and considers him very close, but, again, not in that way. It doesn't make the relationship any less valuable for what it is.

But how did they meet, you may ask. Similarly to the canon, Lucian's working part-time at a restaurant while getting his master's degree when Raffaele visits. After a couple of additional visits and a few semi-successful attempts at flirting, Raffaele's able to get Lucian's number and the rest is history. They ease into their relationship pretty slowly. Raffaele initially just drives Lucian back from work, maybe has a few drinks with him, but does nothing more beyond some touching and gift giving. He doesn't do anything until Lucian initiates, and then it all tumbles down from there. It's made clear from the get go that this was going to be a relationship in which Raffaele constantly gifts Lucian with all sorts of things. Nice meals, expensive clothes, idk like a PS5 probably, and whatever the hell else he's seen Lucian look at with even some mild interest while scrolling through his phone. Man probably asked for his Amazon wishlist and goes from there. It's only when they're legitimately good friends that Raffaele will randomly ask if he wants like some large some of cash. Lucian's fairly certain it's partially some form of tax evasion or money laundering, but if he's planning on transferring 10k somewhere anyways, may as well be his bank account, right?

Mostly, when the two are together, they have sex haha. Usually it's at one of Raff's apartments or at a hotel, but over time when they get to know each other better, they also go out on dinner dates. They're very much each other's escapes from reality--little gaps in time where things don't matter as much and you can feel like who you were means nothing in the present. Not so much of a surprise then that they do a lot of roleplaying. Raffaele has a growing collection of random things he pays Lucian to wear (Lucian's more than happy to wear it without getting paid, but he's not complaining). The maid dress is definitely on the cheesier side, but who doesn't like a good maid dress every so often? 

They also go on vacations together pretty often. If Lucian isn't already going somewhere as Faery King's plus-one, then he'll likely go with Raff www Or maybe both of them together. The two get along pretty well and the more the merrier :)))
