Added 2019-08-18 18:00:01 +0000 UTCCheck out the Lincoln Memorial at the top of the National Mall in Washington, DC. You'll get this view from the top of the Washington Monument.
I think the tower is actually closed now because of renovations - when I was there, they told us the Monument was slowly falling down!

I love Fallout 3 - it was actually fun to play after having been to lots of the DC sites (although they weren't radiated)!

2019-08-19 14:04:18 +0000 UTCWhen I visited Washington, DC, it's amazing how nice the central boulevard looked, but outside of the government areas, how dilapidated things were. Those areas are never shown on TV. Sad truth of some other places I've visited.
