Aye, that pronunciation above almost correct but we tend to miss off the H and some round ere like to put an R in the fud part. So possibly more like "errifurdshur"

As a Herefordian (UK original ;-) ) The cattle breed was developed in Hereford in the 18th Century, we still have plenty of them milling around in the countryside around here as well as them being on the logos of many Hereford brand things (the terrible football (soccer) team for example.

There is a town about 60 miles from me called Hereford, Texas. So many cattle feed lots that you can smell it here when the wind blows the right direction. It was named after the Hereford cattle breed. That's the ones that are a reddish brown with a white face. I wonder if the breed was named after Herefordshire?

I’d have to go for Walkers, they are made in a giant factory down the road, next to it is the Doritos Factory.

I agree about the strength of s&v, there is no room for subtlety. If they don’t make your teeth weep, they’re not good enough. Same with the cheesy flavours, they really need to slap you around the face.

I was trying to work out how to write it phonetically, but that’s pretty good!

Hi, Alanna, really enjoyed your live stream glad you're doing another one in September. This video was brilliant, I love Tyrrell crisps, they are great, I'd never heard of the other two brands but may need to investigate Yorkshire crisps further. Wikipedia tells me the land where Leeds Castle stands was owned by a Saxon chief called Led or Leed. Looking forward to your next video soon.

Also i wondered about you doing a video about what your expectations of living here against the reality of having been here for 3+ years now and do you think living here has changed you in any way?

Adam Clark

What a good start to the weekend, watching you in good and bad pain was hilarious. You couldn't help yourself saying crisps i noticed, i think you are on the turn haha! Really enjoyed your livestream and i thought you handled your nerves well.

I was always confused as a kid looking at how much mustard Americans used. Herefordshire is pronounced something like Hei re ford shur. But it would be best to google and listen to someone

Simon

It's pronounced 'Herryfudshur' (yes, I know!). Really enjoyed the video - off to buy some 'chips' now ;-)

David Young

Mixing them is a fantastic idea - I can't believe I hadn't thought of that..!

I've taken to opening two bags of chips at once (two different flavours), and pouring a handful of each into a large bowl. Because variety is the spice of life and all that. Also, I put the rest of the chips into a large food saver container and will take a few days to finish them... because in North America, our bags of chips are big (I usually get the 255gram bags).
