Foxhair
Added 2022-03-06 04:02:56 +0000 UTCA bit skittish and closed off at first, Foxhair is a man who has learned from experience not to trust easily. He's perhaps a bit of a difficult protagonist in the way he can be unabashedly self-interested, but hopefully in an understandable way. He has traveled alone for much of his young adult life on a singular mission: find out what happened to his missing father. The lessons his parents taught him as he grew up are what drive him to hide, to run, and to be weary of everyone, including himself. He's perfectly civil and he helps people out as he travels town to town. He smiles, makes jokes, and acts as affable as any friendly traveler would, but in any dicey situation, he'd sooner run to save himself than stick his neck out to help you. Not particularly heroic or brave, really. But honestly, who is? How can you be when all you have is the bit of magic you've got and a sought after trait your mother passed down to you that you've been told to keep a secret at all costs.
Get to know him though, and he'd do just about anything for you. That's why he's so careful and weary. He has a lot of trouble loving and trusting in moderation. I do hope y'all like him though :,)
