Corona Farts

Jake stood outside the large white building, staring up the blank wall. It was creepy, the building had no windows and looks more like an asylum than an office building. He checked the scribbled down address once more and then looked up to the address. Cyrotech Inc. was written right above the front door, this was the place.

The corona virus had hit his city hard, everything was closed and everyone was quarantined. Even before the virus Jake had a hard time affording basic needs like food and shelter. When the quarantine hit he was pretty much doomed! Prices skyrocketed! Quarantines were heavily enforced. Even though Jake had caught the virus and survived with nothing more than a basic flu, the rest of the world was still collapsing around him. He needed money, he needed it bad, and that led him here, to the doorstep of CryoTech.

Jake saw the ad on craigslist:

1 male needed for a scientific study revolving around coronavirus. Participants need to have caught and passed the corona virus for a study involving immunity and white blood cell development. Cash will be paid upon completion.

Cash, that was the word that caught his eye. He replied immediately and was asked to come in the very next day. Jake walked to the front door and opened it. The two large glass doors led to a small enclosure with another set of glass doors. Jake pulled them and was surprised to see them locked. He looked around a moment and then pressed the buzzer to his left on the wall. It buzzed quickly and then a female voice came out

“Hello?”

“Hi, umm, I'm Jake, I'm here for the study?

“OH JAKE! I’ll be right down! Wait right there!’ The buzzer clicked off and Jake stood there waiting.

Moments later a woman appeared from around the corner of the plain buildings lobby. She was incredibly beautiful! Jake starred as she walked to the glass doors with a big bright smile on her face. She had long brown hair tied into a ponytail and big green eyes covered with thick black rim glasses. She had on a lab coat that was open with a red sweater and black leggings on underneath. “Follow me” Jenna said as she turned and took off walking quickly across the lobby, Jake followed while taking off his jacket. Jenna led him down a hallway and then up a long flight of stairs.

“We have had an incredibly hard time finding participants, i really can’t thank you enough for coming today!” Jenna said while sounding a bit out of breath from the stairs.

“Well like i said, i really need the money so i don’t mind, what is it your testing today? I mean, what am I gonna be doing?” Jake asked while watching her ass bob back and forth, it was so big that even through her lab coat he could see it wobbling. 

“We’re testing the advanced immunity on people who have passed the virus to adapt the results to the new strain of vaccine we are working on. Your help today is gonna save a lot of lives Jake, we really can’t thank you enough.”

They reached the 7th floor and Jenna was almost about to pass out, she had a great body but clearly was out of shape. She led Jake down the hall, there were multiple offices all of them locked and empty from the quarantine. At the end of the hall was her office, the light could be seen shining in the door. “This way” Jenna said while waving Jake to follow her.

She walked him around the lab and into a back room, it looked almost like a large and very clean police interrogation room except the two way mirror was just a large plane of glass. In the center of the room was a very strange and large looking chair, it had a ton of padded pieces around it hanging off. On the far wall was a closed metal door.

“Have a seat” Jenna said while tapping the seat with her small hand and dark red painted fingernails. Jake took a seat as Jenna handed him a clipboard and pen.

“Just sign where the x’s are and we can get started”

Jake signed the papers quickly, desperate to get this over with and get his cash. His stomach was rumbling and he hadn’t eaten in three days. He wasn’t kidding when he said he really needed this money! Jenna took the clipboard from him and smiled as she looked over it. 

“Perfect”

“Look up!” she said with a smile.

Jake looked up and she slammed the padding down around his face, it had an oval hole in the middle and his head fit perfectly. Jenna hit a switch and the chair began to slowly lower, like a dentist chair it buzzed and moved down, lower, and lower, and lower. Jake started to panic, he was almost in the floor! Jenna stopped the machine and walked over, flipping up the rest of the parts above him. Jake’s eyes went wide… his face… was in the seat of a comfy leather chair! What the hell was going on!

“JENNA! WHAT IS THIS?” Jake asked as he hyperventilated..

“Calm down Jake, I told you, we’re testing the advanced forms of the virus. We believe it is possible for people who have already caught the virus to catch it again through different types of contact, things like…. Gastrointestinal fumes.”

“Gastrointestinal?” Jake asked as his heart raced…

“It shouldn’t be more than a few hours, let’s begin!” Jenna smiled down at him as she disappeared out the door. Jake could hear her enter the opposite room behind the glass window. 

“Can you hear me Jake?” Jenna asked through a speaker into the room.

“Yes!” Jake yelled back

“After each participant leaves, we need you to tell us the odor level, lets say, on a scale from 1 to 10”

“WHY?!” Jake asked, he wanted to cry..

“We need to know if the power and odor affect the viral contagion length, it’s important and you could save a lot of lives! Are you ready!?”

Before Jake could even answer, Jenna let in the first participant.

“Let’s begin!” There was a buzzing noise as the door to his left unlocked. Jake heard it swing open as a light small pair of feet came in. seconds later Jake was looking up at a beautiful blonde. She had bright blue eyes and wavy blonde hair in locks that she held back from falling in front of her face as she looked down. Jake could have sworn he saw her on campus a few times here and there. She smiled and then looked back to the glass window at Jenna.
