November Updates

Hello and happy no-longer-Halloween to everyone ^^!

I realize that I never made an update for October so I'm trying to be much more on top of things and getting an update out first thing for November. I wanted to start off by saying, thank y'all as always for being my patrons! I know that the last month must have been a touch tedious with updates from me on a daily basis haha. If you enjoyed that, I'm happy! Unfortunately, that will not be the case most months.

To start off with, here's some preamble updating on mental health and my current situation (please skip if you want to see what's relevant for patron content):

For those who don't know, I'm working full time on my webcomic NPCs Can Save the World Too! on Manta. I'm pretty confident in my ability to stay on task and get things in on a timely manner. I've got a solid work ethic, but I hadn't realized how much Monstober would actually put a toll on me. I'd end up staying up until around 2-3 a.m. every night to get them done while also giving myself a break to unwind since I could only really get them started after 7 p.m. at the earliest. This isn't to say I didn't enjoy it! I really did! And I chose to do that, it was never something forced upon me, but I did realize through the month that it wasn't a very healthy thing to be doing. I'm still trying to figure out how to balance 'work' art versus personal art and where to draw the line on doing any art some days at all. I'm now in a situation where I feel I'm not allowed to be burnt out for longer than a day or two so I'm doing my best to take preventative measures. As for as my current mental health post-monstober, I'm alright ^^ I'm a bit overwhelmed, but once I sort myself out, I'll be fine! I'm not in a bad place currently, nor should this affect any of my abilities to get content to y'all. I did still want to give the honest update for those who wanted to know!

Now, in regards to updates for this month that relate to ALL patrons:

I'll have a short comic posted for y'all that I'm working on (it's a college assignment, but I'm using it as an excuse to experiment and have fun ;) ). You'll see some WIPs as I go in the coming two weeks. There will be some other concept art, style exploration for some upcoming characters I'm working on for both NPCs and other projects. Please be on the lookout for that. You'll be getting a very large character info dump for some of them haha.

I may do some color experimental pieces in honor of huevember, but I will not be participating in the challenge myself to the same extent as I did for Monstober. I can't really guarantee that currently since I'm trying to figure out how I want to go about working on that.

I will be posting about adoptables early this month! I'm planning on selling some of my monster designs ^^! If you buy them, you'll get the full drawing with PSD files if you're interested in it! Since some of the pieces were NSFW, I'll make censored versions to show. Y'all get first dibs on them and after about two or three days I'll have them available for everyone on Instagram.

Beyond that, you'll be getting content as I go haha. Whatever ends up coming up for this month!

Please expect NSFW content as always. I don't anticipate it'll be as horny as October haha, but there will still be a sketches and illustrations for this month as always ^^

In particular, I'm working on that illustrated animation as promised. I apologize I didn't work on it during October to do Monstober. I promised animated monsterfucking so damn it, I'm making it LOL

In particular, I've changed some rewards for those who've checked. I'll be posting some exclusive world building content and extensive breakdowns on characters and their designs. This content relates to the comics and concept art that I mentioned above. Be on the lookout for that!

Thanks so much for reading my update! I hope that'll help y'all get a picture for what to expect this month! I've been doing my best to be mindful not to make promises I can't keep or to take bigger bites than I can chew. I want to do all these crazy, fun projects, but I've thoroughly learned my lesson on my own capabilities. And, most importantly, it's unfair to y'all for me to advertise and promise something I can't do, or at least not in the time limit I give myself.
