Wooo more spider people for day 22 (and technically I'm caught up on my days again)!! Except this time I gave him spider arms in the back. I think Silk (the previous spider I drew earlier this month) would also look cute that way honestly :,)
I don't know if it's too different looking to others, but I've been messing around with different brush settings and line art style. I ended up working on this like how I used to do line art for my fake anime screenshot pieces.
I used to absolutely hate pure black line art, but the more I'm exposed to it and experiment with it, the more into it I get. I think that bold sort of cell-shaded black line art look (I think Persona 5's artist Shigenori Soejima is the best reference I can think of off the top my head) is really stunning in a way that's very different from my usual style. Maybe I'll try to really experiment with it more for another monstober. Focus less on the colors and more on line weight and shadows. It'll be an interesting change of pace and I feel like it's more fitting for October in some ways.
I hope y'all enjoyed that little ramble about line art styles haha. Shout out to those who humor me and read this little miscellaneous tangents. I appreciate y'all <3
