What's snow?

- heavy duty boots
- a long insulated coat
- gloves (I prefer the ones that you can poke your fingers out when you want to and hide them when you need to)
- scarf tucked inside your coat
- both a large hood and an obnoxiously large furry hat (ear flaps are ideal)
Then you just need a frozen waterfall to stand in front of!

Jesus! Sounds brutal! Balaclavas work as long as they don't get too wet from your own breath and then freeze.

2019-02-08 10:52:24 +0000 UTCWhat about the balaclava? Or would it freeze to your face? The coldest I have ever been was when I worked inside a hollowed out factory. No door or windows. Only brick walls and concrete floors. It was colder inside than outside. My beard would freeze. Pieces would break off if I wiped my face. I had on thermals,shirt & pants, coveralls, another layer of insulated coveralls, a coat, 2 pairs of gloves, a hard hat liner with face protection and a hard hat. Even then we could only work for about 10 minutes before we had to walk over to one of those kerosene heaters that look like a mini jet engine to warm up.

2019-02-07 18:10:05 +0000 UTCalright maybe gloves and scarf , but you dont relize how hot i get was in poland for one xmas 4 foot of snow and i was wearing all that and i was still hot lol even in sweden 3 years ago i mean it was only -20 but still i was fine
