Not the gortash/trump comparisons ☠️ But really this was so nice to listen to. BG3 was my hyper fixation for like 6 months and this was so much fun to listen to and remember how much everyone loved (and presumably still does, but less fervently) that game. Might have to break it out again

I find it easier to switch out which fake appearance you want than the ones that have you do weird alchemy to the actual weapon, and it has separate slots for armours and weapons. 2024-03-12 20:07:34 +0000 UTCI think you nailed it, and the fact that he “gained hideous horns” underlines it, but they definitely didn’t lean in as hard as they could. his romance was so charming and I’m grateful I didn’t save after the final battle on my first run because I got to choose to go to the Hells with him AND Karlach and come back to the epilogue party as a threesome.

2024-03-11 23:09:27 +0000 UTCI have a theory that they should have given Wyll soft boy looks -- he's legit the Bridgerton romance pick, but they gave him edgy-MMO-player looks, so the people who are most into that style of "princely lordling with a heart of gold" romance story don't go for him. I modded him to (still has scars and odd eyes but BROWN seeing stone odd eye, don't love the game's obsession with blue eyed heterochromia) and you can see the gentle expressions on his mesh way better. They programmed in all these little soft smiles it's really hard to see on his default appearance.

2024-03-04 21:44:00 +0000 UTCYess more BG3 :) I still keep finding new things in my playthroughs and I'm just constantly amazed at the game! On the subject of companions leaving the camp suddenly. In my first playthrough, I didn't have Shadowheart in my party, so I didn't realise that the gauntlet of Shar was really important to her and didn't bring her along, and so as soon as I exited the shadowfell after freeing Dame Aylin, I had the triumphant cutscene with her, immediately followed by an angry Shadowheart leaving the camp. I was so confused XD

2024-03-04 16:54:41 +0000 UTCit’s such a bummer because the dragon fight and the jail break for Wyll’s dad are two of the most interesting sections of the game to me and everyone skips them both. I kinda regretted romancing Wyll my first playthrough but I’m grateful I did specifically because it meant I was invested in him so I did both quests.
