Meg

Diamondjihoon

I LOVE when you folks have Anastasia join you. She's hilarious and the three of you have great chemistry together.

Emily Tetreault

how is Anastaisa not a voice actor or audio book reader

shae_lig

The guy in the first ketchup video is the son of a restaurant owner in the revamped Kitchen Nightmares and he was a TOTAL asshole to his brother and mom who were trying to keep the business afloat (episode is called Da Mimmo)

Laura

is it just me or did jordan used to say nightsssss at the beginning of an episode

Miss Multipants

I brought this up with my boyfriend because it's an issue that's simply not that deep. Yes peeling an orange is a task that will only benefit you. But for whatever reason you don't feel like doing a task and you ask your partner to do it, it shouldn't be questioned. It's like, if I go to the store I'll pick something up they like for them. If they're laying in bed and I'm up and they ask for water I'll get it. Recently the dog peed on the floor and he groaned and said "I don't want to do this right now" so I cleaned it up. Ive even asked him if he would love me if I was a worm. We acknowledged the question was dumb, but that's the point! And he answered it and we laughed. It's like.. the "tests" are not that serious so if someone really rejects them or gets angry about them that is very suspicious and weird

K

I deleted all of my social media other than YouTube and patreon and I love getting all of my pop culture updates from these episodes 😭 makes me feel like an alien on earth

syd ?

I would peel all the oranges for y'all! Also those milk candies look rlly good

Amina Opio

Oranges are like a huge part of like me and my partners lil love languages because I always read poems about how peeling an orange for someone was a soft and small act of love and I was so excited when I finally had someone who I could peel oranges for. Like there’s tons of poems abt sharing oranges being a little lovely part of being alive and loving people, so it’s like weird to see it be turned into like this litmus test for relationships

felix

maybe i’m on a different side of tiktok, but i thought the orange peel theory came from when people were sharing those poems about the act of peeling an orange symbolizing a small act of love. i have never heard of the reddit post until now.

Ellie Long

Its crazy because the idea of oranges or like sharing an orange has been a symbol or love and camaraderie for a long time (theres a ton of poems about it) and the fact that its now become a weird straight people litmus test is disappointing.

Mairead Canning

More episodes with Anastasia please she’s so funny

Phogul

yooooooooooooo

DM Fangorn

lovely gifts <3 but it seems like hell to open gifts not only in front of people, but *thousands* of people.

DM Fangorn

Incredible end as always guys

Leeehehee

the episodes Anastasia is on are really good, you guys should have her on more. she is well spoken and insightful and Ive really enjoyed the ones where she jumps in quite a lot

GeoTurkey

are straight people okay lmao

Yuki

yeah the first time i saw it people stitched it with their dissertations on weaponized incompetence so when i saw everyone start squeezing ketchup on their counters i was able to just skip lollll

Leticia

Ahh there are two Sad Boyz wikis floating around now haha the one you guys looked at was the Sad Boyz Podcast Wiki but the one I’ve been contributing to was just Sad Boyz Wiki!!! I don’t know why it isn’t coming up in google search but I swear it exists and I DID link to every single episode in the list I made 😭 https://sad-boyz.fandom.com/wiki/Sad_Boyz_Wiki

Gabi

I would die for a watcher collab pls

jamie

Growing up in the south this is something I’ve heard since I was super young and my friends have too. My dad peeled my oranges for me, when he died my mom peeled my oranges for me, I’m in my 20s now and when I’m visiting home my mom will still peel them for me as a sign of love. She says her dad (my grandfather) peeled her oranges for her until he died in his 80s. I always thought it was a super sweet sign of love but it’s crazy how quickly it’s turned into some sort of toxic love test and feels so corrupted now that it’s become a trend. Like it’s no longer a positive or a gift, or something nice that someone does for me, it’s an expectation. Blah blah the way social media thrives on taking away our appreciation for what we have and generating dissatisfaction for what we don’t blah blah.

jamie

like, i understand that the purpose of these "tests" is because it's the idea of the little things in life being joyful enough to sustain a happy life together. and it's honestly really sad when people won't do basic things for someone who is supposed to love you. but if you're out here basing a whole relationship off of something this insignificant you've gotta date around more and honestly just find better friends lmaooo

Leticia

You don’t peel an orange you cut it it’s not an mandarin

Zosimos panopolis

The lil treat unboxing at the end was so wholesome <3

Ryn Thacker

unrelated to the episode but i just watched the newest watcher video and realized that i would LOVE to see ryan & shane on the pod

Meg

This ep has Christmas vibes

Sad Lad

not gonna lie, while relationship tests are largely bs, that won’t stop me from asking my gf once or twice a year, “would you still love me if i were a worm?” and feigning absolute heartbreak when she says, “well okay if you were a literal worm, then no, i probably wouldn’t love you, at least certainly not in the same way”

Hunter Slingbaum

Desperate to know what sleep tracker Jordan is using

Hana Z

jordan in the intro is me as a kid pretending to be asleep in the car so my dad would carry me to my bed

Daniel

the original video for the ketchup theory (at least I'm pretty sure its the original) the guy tries to clean it up by swiping in circles continuously and all it does is spread it all over the counter
