I feel like everyone has photographed an eye up close as a right of passage except me, so I asked a friend if I could photograph her eye. I bought a new macro ring light attachment that fits on my Olympus Tough macro camera. I think it will be helpful when I'm trying to photograph nature and I'm standing over the object blocking the sunlight. I have to have the LED turned on on the camera versus the flash. The first photo - I didn't account for the ring light (and red camera showing reflected in her eye. haha) I did ask her to look away out the window, just so she wasn't being blinded by the light. But, the second one, where she's looking in the camera, I like better because of the placement of the ring light being centralized. Well, at least I can say I did it. :)
