New studio!

Since you guys are the ones who essentially help me pay for all things shoot related, I thought it fitting I share with y'all first that I finally found a new space to rent as a photography studio! It's my friend's upper level of her house, so two rooms and a stairwell. If you're new to me, I was renting an art studio that I also used as a photo studio for 10 years in an old Masonic Temple building. Shockingly, it burned down one night in January of 2022. It contained about 60 artists studios in addition to mine and all my created art, props, supplies, and belongings. After that a realtor let those us inside use an old schoolhouse free for 6 months as studio/business space, which I took advantage of. Only 6 other people also took advantage of that. After 6 months, the rent went to $500, though, which is way out of my price range. Prices have sky rocketed. I don't know if gentrification is the right word, but you have 60+ people all looking for private studio space when there wasn't much to begin with. There was one place, but it didn't have windows and I pretty much use natural light only. So, I've been looking for about two and a half years now. I saw my friend cleaning out her house on Facebook and asked if she was moving. She said no, just getting rid of things that weren't hers that ended up in her house! Haha. So, I asked if she wanted to make some money. And, viola, I have a key and use for a monthly fee. So, thank you for being here and your support. It's because of you I can help her and help myself make art. I look forward to bringing you new content shot there and entertaining you for months to come! Photographers - I have a place to host you now so you won't have to rent a studio (though I'm certainly game to go to nicer studios to shoot!) I'm just offering this because some photographers are on a budget. No professional lights or backdrops or anything, but I will send you photos if we discuss a shoot. Also, still can shoot outside when weather allows.
