V7 Progress Report 2 + A brief walk through hometown.

Another month, another progress report!

I've finished spriting another interior area, I'm focusing on doing one house at a time, so I just need to sprite 3 more Dremurr family rooms and the Dremurr household will be finished!

Alright, Now that you've watched the video, I can talk about the progress that's been made!

As previously stated in my earlier sneak peek posts, I've finished spriting EVERY exterior area in hometown. I'm satisfied with the results so far, but I may or may not change a few things if it strikes my fancy.

The follower XP menu is also finished now, I've very content with how it turned out. It's very quick to view and hide, so it doesn't feel annoying to use.

Additionally, I've FINALLY figured out how to make custom dialogue boxes :D

I'll be using these dark-with-white-outlines boxes to keep with the Undertale feel.

That being said! I am unsure if the font is what looks best. I will be posting a poll tomorrow to decide whether to use the default RPG maker font or the Undertale one.

Also, as you may have seen at the end of the video, Frisk got a new sprite!
That's right, (almost) every single NPC in the game will receive new sprites so that the new map doesn't look huge in comparison to them.

I'd love to have shown off even more content, but I still need to sprite more interior areas, and the artist is working on the art necessary for this update (there's a LOT of new art).

As far as update progress goes, I'd say we're a solid 30-40% of the way to being done with this update. Spriting the rest of the interior areas will definitely be the biggest hurdle, but I'm sure I'll manage eventually!
